VIRGIN ATLANTIC LAUNCHES SEARCH FOR FIRST EVER AVIATION APPRENTICE
Virgin Atlantic has launched a nationwide search to find the next Richard Branson – a budding young aviation enthusiast who will be the first child ever to test and approve the airline’s newly refurbished fleet of 747 aircraft.
The lucky applicant, who demonstrates that they are plane crazy enough to fill Branson’s shoes, will be appointed the role of 747 Junior Approvals Manager and be invited on board the updated fleet to test out in-flight entertainment, seating, food and overall service.
Parents will be invited to nominate their mini-Bransons (between the ages of seven and ten) via the Virgin Atlantic Facebook page (www.facebook.com/
Parents are encouraged to submit any evidence they feel proves that their child should become Virgin Atlantic’s 747 Junior Approvals Manager – but the judging panel will be looking for applicants who demonstrate a love of flying, an adventurous spirit and an entrepreneurial spark.
Sir Richard Branson said:
“We have worked hard to make sure our renovated 747 leisure fleet is the most comfortable and family friendly in the sky – so it makes sense to get one of our toughest critics – a plane crazy boy or girl – to really put it though its paces.
I’m looking for a bright young spark who loves travel and shares my passion for aviation to take on this role. ”
